Welcome to Family Hub ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you use our mobile and web applications (the "App").
By using Family Hub, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

We collect information to provide, improve, and secure our services to you and your family members.
A. Information You Provide Directly:
Account Information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials.
Family Data: Information you input about your family structure, including member names or aliases.
User-Generated Content: This includes tasks, calendar events, lists, budgets, recipes, meal plans, devotionals, prayers, fitness metrics, chores, and any other text or media you input into the App, uses your location when you select it and it is background when you share your location with your family
AI Prompts: Text queries or prompts you submit to the App’s AI features (e.g., generating recipes or devotionals).
B. Information Collected Automatically:
Device Data: We may collect basic analytics such as device type, operating system, and App usage statistics to help us improve the App.
Local Storage Data: The App heavily utilizes your device's local storage to cache your data so the App functions smoothly offline.
C. Financial Information:
If you upgrade to our Premium tier, your payment is processed directly by the respective app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store). We do not collect, process, or store your credit card or payment details. We only receive a secure token confirming your subscription status.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
To Provide the Service: To synchronize your family’s tasks, lists, and events across all your devices in real-time.
To Power AI Features: To send your specific queries to our AI providers to generate requested content (like meal plans or devotionals).
To Improve the App: To understand how users interact with our features and fix bugs.
To Communicate: To send you critical account updates, security alerts, or support messages.
3. Third-Party Service Providers
We do not sell your personal data. We only share data with trusted third-party services that are essential to running the App:
Supabase: We use Supabase as our secure backend cloud database and authentication provider. Your account details and user-generated content are encrypted and stored on their secure servers.
Google (Gemini AI): When you use the App's AI generation features, the specific text prompts you type are sent to Google's Gemini API to generate the response. We do not share your private account data or full database with Google; only the specific prompts you submit are processed.
RevenueCat: We use RevenueCat to manage cross-platform premium subscriptions. They securely process your app store receipt tokens to grant your family access to premium features.
Apple / Google: For processing In-App Purchases securely.
4. Data Security
The security of your data is important to us. Your data is encrypted in transit and stored securely using industry-standard protocols. Furthermore, access to your family's data is strictly limited to authenticated users who possess your unique family join code.
While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
5. Children's Privacy
Family Hub is designed to be used by families, which may include children. However, accounts must be created and managed by an adult (the Family Owner/Admin).
Parents or legal guardians are responsible for the data inputted by or for their children within their specific Family Hub.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child without permission, please contact us so we can delete it.
6. Your Data Rights & Deletion
You have full control over your data.
Access & Editing: You can access, edit, or delete any of your tasks, events, and family data directly within the App at any time.
Account Deletion: You may request the complete deletion of your account and all associated family data by contacting us. Upon request, we will permanently wipe your data from our active databases.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy and, for significant changes, providing a notice within the App.
